Application Support Analyst - Hybrid / Watford / £24k - £27k
I am working with a retail company in Watford that are looking for an Applications Support Analyst to join their team to provide both an operational and a process support functions.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing daily incidents and problems for applications and technical queries
- Monitoring, maintaining and administering application systems, servers and interfaces
- Maintaining existing reports and developing new ones, in line with business requirements
- Providing functional support to users on all supported applications and systems
Key skills and experience:
- Excellent communications skills via telephone and face to face, when dealing with users of varying levels of technical competency
- Tenacious approach to incident resolution
- Good problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail
Systems skills:
- Knowledge of HR and finance processes
- Basic skills in IIS and SQL
- Understanding of networks, servers and Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience of monitoring tools
