Application Support Analyst

Application Support Analyst - Hybrid / Watford / £24k - £27k

I am working with a retail company in Watford that are looking for an Applications Support Analyst to join their team to provide both an operational and a process support functions.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing daily incidents and problems for applications and technical queries
• Monitoring, maintaining and administering application systems, servers and interfaces
• Maintaining existing reports and developing new ones, in line with business requirements
• Providing functional support to users on all supported applications and systems

Key skills and experience:

• Excellent communications skills via telephone and face to face, when dealing with users of varying levels of technical competency
• Tenacious approach to incident resolution
• Good problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail

Systems skills:

• Knowledge of HR and finance processes
• Basic skills in IIS and SQL
• Understanding of networks, servers and Microsoft Active Directory
• Experience of monitoring tools
