Your daily roles and responsibilities will include;
- Preparation and service of a breakfast, hot food, salads and sandwiches.
- Assisting the kitchen team and the wider Catering team with fresh food preparation, working to recipe cards and a Menu Cycle.
- Using fresh season produce.
- Various cooking processes will be used so a development of understanding of different cooking methods and procedures will be required.
- Support our Chef with food orders and stock, so after training you will develop a good understanding of stock control, stock rotation, stock taking, ordering and general kitchen compliance / processes.
- Use all our Catering equipment such as blenders, mixers, slicers, fryers, combination ovens, steamers, grills, induction hobs, hot counters & bain-marie's etc.
Please note, the successful candidate will need to pass a DBS check before employment can start.

The ability to follow instructions will be essential in this role, as well as basic understanding of written and spoken English.
