- greeting dogs as they arrive
- entertaining dogs in a safe and engaging way
- keeping things tidy & clean,
- supporting other staff in getting activities ready
- doing training with a group of dogs.

Desired Skills & Qualities
- Some previous kennel or dog experience desirable
- Eagerness to learn
- Good time keeping

- An innovative and out-of-the-box mindset, eager to help move the business forward.
Desired Qualification
- No specific qualifications required but a good all round education preferred with Maths and English GCSE’s, or equivalents, as a minimum.
- Applicants MUST NOT already hold a level 2 or higher in animal care to be eligible.
Future Progression
- Most of our learners stay if they have reached the desired development. If they do not, they usually go on to do grooming or vet nursing.
Training
- The apprentice will be working to build a portfolio of evidence and will be required to pass a knowledge test and an End Point Assessment (EPA) to complete the apprenticeship.
- All training will take place at the work location and the applicant will complete an animal care apprenticeship in full.

- As there is an element of customer facing within this role we expect your appearance & uniform to represent the professionalism of our business.
- This is a fast paced job role so be prepared to be on your feet.
