We are looking for driven and ambitious individuals, willing to learn and develop skills, knowledge, and experience in all aspects of installing, repairing and maintaining the domestic heating/plumbing systems and appliances within properties of Harlow District Council.
The apprenticeship consists of attending college to gain appropriate trade qualifications and functional skills and doing practical work on site to ensure you achieve the skills, knowledge and experience to become a fully qualified Heating Engineer. You will be required to attend work 4 days a week (8am - 4pm) with one day’s release to college during term time. You must have GCSE pass grades in Maths and English (4-9) and have completed one year's heating plumbing course at college.
You must also be self-motivated with good communication skills, the ability to work as a team and follow instructions.
