The role
As an Apprenticeship Coordinator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The role of the Apprenticeship Coordinator is a person who can demonstrate flexibility and adapt to various working situations as and when required. Must be an excellent communicator and capable of presenting information to all levels. Maintaining a systematic approach to problems, having the confidence to make decisions and work collectively as a team. The role requires attention to detail is of primary importance regarding the collation of data and recording of information is in accordance with Babcock's internal quality assurance process.
Day to day, as an Apprenticeship Coordinator, you will be setting and reviewing progressive training objectives, mentoring, sampling, assessment criteria (moderation), invigilation of Functional Skills assessments and setting up of online assessments/invigilation for L-2 knowledge qualifications.
- Setting and reviewing progressive training objectives, mentoring, sampling, assessment criteria (moderation), invigilation of Functional Skills assessments and setting up of online assessments/invigilation for L-2 knowledge qualifications
- Conduct learner reviews every 10-weeks and completion of all relevant internal/external documentation to monitor progression
- Conduct mapping exercises for L-2/L-3 knowledge qualifications to ensure alignment to awarding body requirements
- Ensure all documentation for learner Induction, registrations are completed using a systematic approach that aligns to Babcock's internal quality assurance process
- Applies flexibility, imagination, innovation and creative problem-solving techniques
This role is full time and will be based at on site at Lyneham.
Essential experience of the Apprenticeship Coordinator:
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Good understanding of Apprenticeships
- Delivering induction programmes
- Army environment desirable
Qualifications for the Apprenticeship Coordinator:
- Teaching Qualification - desirable
- Engineering qualifications - desirable
- Assessors Qualification - desirable
- L3 Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic (either one or all)
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC as well as EDBS security clearance level for this role.
