Architectural Technologist – Sussex Studio
The Sussex studio is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Architectural Technologist to work as part of our Technical team on a range of projects varying in size and complexity.

Position overview
As an Architectural Technologist at ECE, you will work alongside the senior team on a range of medium to largescale mixed use and residential projects from RIBA stage 4 onwards.
Experience should be demonstrated in preparing working drawings and coordinating your work with others based upon the client’s brief, consented planning information and other consultants’ information.
Essential qualifications and experience
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- 3+ years UK experience post qualification.
- Strong technical skills gained on a range of medium to large scale projects (experience in residential, education and mixed use is highly beneficial).
- Excellent AutoCAD and IT (Microsoft Office) skills.
- Current working knowledge of Autodesk Revit is essential.
- Understanding of the current Building Regulations, NHBC/ LABC Warranty Guidance and Associated Housing Standards.
- Be able to demonstrate an ability to prepare detailed working drawing packages (plans, sections, elevations, schedule and details).
- Be capable of coordinating a drawing package in conjunction with the other design consultants.
- Be able to work autonomously where needed to provide clients with a quick turnaround.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.

ECE Sussex is a modern, highly sociable studio, just a stone throw from the seafront in West Sussex.
The studio is conveniently located within a short walk of Worthing and East Worthing train station and there is free parking within a 15-minute walk.
