Reporting to the Managing Director
Macalloy is an engineering company with a £13 million turnover that exports 85 percent of its products. Established for over 100 years, the company supplies bar and cable systems to the global construction industry.
Based at the company's headquarters (HO) in Dinnington, this Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. This is an important role within the sales function, interacting directly with customers and some travel will be involved. The sales department comprises eleven individuals, including Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and internal Sales Managers. Experience in the construction industry and ability in selling a specific product, as well as presenting to engineers and consultants, are essentials for this role. The right applicant will have experience in managing and developing their own pipeline of orders and working with agents and distributors and direct selling to contractors and managing the company CRM system when tracking customer orders. We are looking for people who are motivated, well organised, and have excellent communication skills.
