Area Sales Manager needed in the environmental sector.
I’m currently working with a well-known international company who have a £52m turnover and 130 employees across 2 UK manufacturing sites.
We’re looking for a motivated and professional Area Sales Manager to develop the northern territory. This position will play a key role in a strong team of 4 colleagues, developing existing client relationships and hunting for new business opportunities across your region. Sales experience within the public sector is essential, as the majority of clients and prospects will operate within this market.
Salary: £35k to £40k base salary + commission (£15k OTE) + car or car allowance.
Location: Northern patch (focused on the Liverpool, Manchester, and Leeds area with occasional travel to the East midlands, Staffordshire, and Lancashire).
Duration: Permanent.

Requirements:
- Sales experience within the public sector.
- Impressive track record in field-based B2B sales.
- Confident communicator and effective relationship builder.
- Motivated, honest, and professional personality.
- Based on territory.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage existing accounts whilst converting new accounts / re-opening dormant accounts.
- Understanding customer needs and creating opportunities to grown order intake.
- Building strong relationships with key decision makers.
- Responding quickly to customer enquiries.
- Work in conjunction with the Sales Director to deliver upon the company’s commercial strategy across your region.
- Regular travel as required across your territory.
- Managing the company’s sales records in a CRM system.
