Reed Business Support are recruiting on behalf of an established Commercial Furniture Supplier, due to continued growth are client are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to their Sales Team managing Leeds and the North of the Country.
This role is responsible for the growth of the Sales Turnover of all customers & potential customers assigned to your area, working with Business Development Managers where relevant.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Act as the Senior sales contact for all customers on your personal target list through regular face to face meetings.
• Proactively work with Business Development Managers to ensure we are increasing revenue from key accounts by maintaining & growing client relationships.
• Work with Business Development Managers to ensure they are building client relationships with their target customers to ensure the overall Area Sales target is achieved.
• Responsible to identify opportunities for new business from both existing and new customers or sectors.
• Maintain regular face to face or phone/on-line meetings with all main contacts within key accounts.
• Ensure Quarterly Review Meetings are held with all key accounts.
• Book meetings and appointments to maintain a full but meaningful diary – using Business Development Managers where necessary.
• Thorough preparation for external meetings - using Business Development Managers where necessary.
• Record accurate notes of meetings and ensure diligent follow up of all action points.
• Provide feedback to management of any market trends, new markets & ideas for new products.
• Ensure all deals are accurate and up to date on CRM system with correct close dates, and all won/lost deals updated. Use Business Development Manager for this where possible.
• Ensure diligent follow up of every lead and enquiry.
• Daily and Weekly meetings with Business Development Managers to drive efficiencies, monitor results and keep team members focused on the target.
• Go-to person and Line Manager for Business Development Managers.
• Coach and develop Business Development Managers to be successful.
• Responsible for management of team’s holidays & office cover, etc.
• Responsible for effective recruitment & on-boarding of additional team members as and when required.

Other information:
Salary: £55,000 - £85,000 DOE
Company Car/Car Allowance
Working hours: 7:30 – 17:00 these can vary
