We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager to work for a globally recognised heavy equipment systems company, targeting the South East region.

- Region (roughly): South of Northampton, East of Oxford (London and surrounding counties)

- Highly flexible working arrangement – Area Sales Manager dictates where and when to visit customers in their region
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets
- Analyse market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate across internal functions and departments to ensure that the highest levels of customer service are provided to customers within the territory.
- Attend exhibitions, trade shows when necessary
- Meet or exceed sales targets consistently with a strategic approach, driving revenue growth.
- Generate new sales leads through various channels
- Provide reports on sales trends and forecasted sales within the given territory
- Prepare for and attend regular sales meetings
Essentials
- Have at least two years in a customer facing sales role
- GCSE Maths and English (Level 4 and above) or equivalent
- Highly motivated and determined to succeed
- Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure, with the aptitude to think on your feet and resolve issues
- Must have ability and willingness to travel throughout the UK extensively
