Job Title: Technical Sales Manager - Architectural & Composite Panels

Area to be covered: National (commutable to Sheffield)
Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + bonus
Benefits: fully expensed company car & full benefits package
The role of the Technical Sales Manager - Architectural & Composite Panels will involve:
- Technical sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of bespoke panel solutions
- Roughly a 2 days in the office and 3 days on the road (wants you on the road in front of customers as much as possible)
- All of your time will be spent selling to main contractors, façade contractors, sub-contractors, façade fabricators, curtain wall fabricator, modular building manufacturers, end users and architects
- Joining a division that turns over circa £5m and looking to grow
- Dealing with typical project values between £5k-£300k
- Represent the company at trade shows, events and conduct company CPD presentations to clients
- 60% account management the remaining 40% new business
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Manager - Architectural & Composite Panels with:
- Must have construction sales experience (open on what products sold)
- Must be able to digest technical information, understand drawings and dimensions
- Ideally from a facades, architectural, building envelope, cladding, curtain walling, sheet material, laminates, insulation, window & doors product background
- Would consider a non-sales background if you have related products knowledge (for example if you’re an estimator looking to get into field sales)
- Ideally sold to both contractors & end-users
- Ideally have experience conducting CPD seminars
- Excellent influencing and communication skills; well-spoken and personable; able to get on with diverse personalities
- Strong analytical, negotiating and decision making abilities
