Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Plant Hire
Industry Sector: Plant Hire, Housebuidlers, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, HS2, Hire, Topsoil, Construction, Area Sales, Sales Manager
Area to be covered: London & Home Counties (office based in West Drayton when not on the road)
Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + bonus £10,000 for every £1m turnover

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Plant Hire will involve:
- Area Sales Manager role selling the hire and sales of Plant Hire equipment and machinery such as: Excavators, Dumpers, Dozers, Crushers, Trailers etc
- All of your time selling to civil engineering companies, contractors, large infrastructure contractors & end users
- Dealing with small - medium projects however do deal on larger infrastructure projects such as: HS2 & Heathrow Runway
- Will have your own negotiable turnover target to hit initial
- Majority of your time will be spent generating new business relationships however will have a smaller element of account management
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Plant Hire with:
- Must have Plant Hire sales experience
- Must have sold to housebuilders, groundwork contractors, main contractors, sub-contractors
- Must have strong new business skills
- Ideally dealt with larger scale project such as Heathrow and HS2
- Ideally have people management skills however not essential
- Plenty of energy, passion and self-motivation
- Personable demeanour with excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- Computer literate
- Full UK driving license
