Role: Horticulture and Agricultural Sales Manager
Remuneration: £45,000 + Company vehicle + laptop + mobile phone
Location: Remote (UK Based)

The business
Since its foundation it has been one of the largest importers of irrigation equipment into the UK and Irish Market. With support from some of the largest leading manufacturers in the industry the company has gone from strength to strength. They have 4000 products which include, Pipe, Fittings, Valves, Hoses, Sprinklers, Control systems and all other components including pumps and water storage tanks to complete a full system install.
The role will involve:
- Field sales role promoting a range of Irrigation products, from leading global manufacturers
- Responsible for new business development and sales growth of existing accounts
- Work in line with the Company's beliefs and values to build and maintain customer trust
- Manage established client relationships pro-actively, responding positively to customer requirements and expectations
- Produce timely, quality, internal business reports
- Attend industry events, conferences and seminars to gain new business leads, contacts and market information
- Prepare quotes and give correct technical advice
- Support other members of the team with your expert knowledge in your specialised sector
The desired experience and skills
- Knowledge of farmers and growers markets within Horticulture and Agriculture
- Knowledge of, filtration, water storage, sprinkler systems, valves and control, would be advantageous
- Proven history of delivering new accounts, developing and growing existing accounts
- Proactive, personable, motivated and driven
- Field sales track record
- Full UK Driving Licence
