Art Curator

We are now recruiting for an Art Curator to be part of our Creative Team !

Art, in various formats, is one of the fundamental pillars of Sketch’s identity. The Art Curator plays a paramount role in the organisation by nurturing the art offered at sketch throughout the different spaces.

The Art Curator will be responsible for the research, selection, costing and presentation of all art installations at Sketch. This will include the planning and execution over the course of the year in line with Sketch’s operations and marketing plan.

This role will develop and maintain key relationships with artists, art galleries, suppliers and other partners as well as negotiate sponsorship of events with the Director of Operations. The person will be liaising with internal department to ensure successful deployment of the installations.

The role will be part of the Creative team and will vary according to business needs, therefore flexibility and fast adaptation are paramount to success. Superior communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and eloquence are also a must for that role. French as an additional language would also be an asset but not essential.

A Degree or Master in History of Arts is preferred or another Art Related qualification and a proven track record in a similar activity would also be beneficial.

Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
