We are looking for dynamic and passionate Art Teachers to join a secondary school in West London. This long-term placement, starting on the 22nd of April, is an excellent opportunity for educators who are committed to inspiring students and making a substantial impact on their artistic progress.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons to students of varying backgrounds and abilities, ensuring high levels of engagement and effective learning.
- Create lesson plans that comply with the national curriculum and cater to a range of learning needs, focusing mainly on KS3 & KS4.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives that enrich the educational experience.
- Participate in meetings with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and strategies for support.
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching Art at the secondary level.
- A thorough understanding of the Art curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Advocacy for inclusive and differentiated instruction to meet all students’ needs.
