Article Data Administrator (Secondment / Fixed Term)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Article Data Administrator at Boots UK, the UK’s leading pharmacy-led Health and Beauty retailer. About the role:
Join the Master Data Team within Commercial Operations whose principal responsibilities are the timely, accurate and controlled management of master data. The Article Data Administrator role focuses on creating and maintaining products for sales in our stores and online platform across UK and Ireland markets. Without this service products wouldn’t be available for sale.
This is an opportunity to work in a great, fast paced team with lots of opportunity and support to develop. You will have visibility of numerous departments across the business and be encouraged to drive change. The key activities involved in the role means you will have an appreciation of end to end article creation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- To manage the timely and accurate creation and maintenance of Boots products, validating data in line with given standards
- Achieving agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) within the role
- Support and coach customers with data requirement queries daily
- Produce team and customer KPI’s, such as volumes and customer rework reporting
- Demonstrate process improvements to drive simplification
- Governance is a key part of the role, to support communication and engagement with customers in order to deliver right first time data

- Well organised, excellent short and long-term planning, with brilliant attention to detail, with a right first time attitude
- Strong ability to communicate effectively whether face to face, telephone or email

- Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Self-motivator, confident and able to use initiative to create and/or seek out solutions
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) essential
