Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Surrey. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conducting asbestos surveys, providing expert advice, and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition asbestos surveys in various property types.
- Collecting and recording accurate data, samples, and photographic evidence.
- Producing detailed survey reports and asbestos registers.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide technical advice and support.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in asbestos surveying.
- In-depth knowledge of current asbestos regulations and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Proficient in using industry-specific software and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within Surrey and surrounding areas.
