SalaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded, confident Quantity Surveyor to join a bespoke, luxury developer in Surrey.
The Quantity Surveyor Role
The incoming Quantity Surveyor will initially work on an exciting £2m high-end Residential conversion and new build scheme in Cobham, about 15 minutes from the office, which is set to take about 12-18 months.
The role will also open up to include other upcoming developments. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for a range of projects commercially from conception to final accounts. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage the day-to-day tasks on super prime projects from £1m - £5m.
This could be the perfect opportunity for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step up or for a more established QS to join a dynamic Developer and work on interesting high-end residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- Applications for Payments
- Change control
- Site visits
- Taking ownership of cost to completes and cost value reconciliations on your projects
- Valuation and production of payments applications
- Liaising with clients and suppliers to build relationships
The Quantity Surveyor
The successful Quantity Surveyor will have:
- Experience working with a Developer / House Builder
- Experience working on residential projects
- Experience working on projects to completion
- A HNC or degree qualification

The company are happy to discuss individual requirements based on experience but are looking to offer:
- £45,000 - £55,000
