Job title:            Assembly Fitter

Salary Range:    £26,000- £30,000 per annum

Overtime:          Overtime is paid at T1/2 for any hours worked after 39 hours basic.

Hours:                Monday to Friday Day Shifts- 45 hours per week

Location:            Telford, Shropshire

Permanent role working for a leading manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.

Due to expansion, we are looking for 2 Assembly Fitters to join a long-standing manufacturing business based in Telford.

This job would be ideal for someone who has experience working with hand and power tools, can work from technical drawings and has a proven assembly/manufacturing background.

The hiring manager would prefer someone who has either worked with vehicles previously or has a passion working with vehicles, but full training will be given.

This client based in Telford requires an Assembly Fitter on a long-term basis.

As an Assembly Fitter you will be required to:

• Measure, cut down and install components into vehicles.
• Work from and understand technical drawings.
• Use hand and power tools daily including spanners and drills.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Completing supporting paperwork

The Assembly Fitter should have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

Essential:

• Experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with using hand and power tools.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with previous Assembly, Manufacturing or Mechanics experience. In return for your experience this Telford based business will offer you:

• The opportunity of a permanent contract (after a probationary period)
• 45 hours per week (early finish on a Friday)
