Exciting Opportunity - Assessment and Engagement Worker
In this role, you'll be part of an active service, serving as the initial point of contact for both new and returning service users. Your responsibilities include providing CGL intervention as required and conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and risks within our case management system.

- Offer triage and thorough assessments to individuals seeking treatment in both hub and community venues.
- Provide recovery-oriented key working to a small caseload, employing a wide array of person-centered interventions as needed.
- Involve individuals struggling with alcohol and illegal substance use from diverse regions in impactful, evidence-based treatment initiatives.
- Remain flexible and participate in activities and tasks that directly address client and service needs.
- Advocate for access to partnership services and collaborate with service users to foster social (re)integration, empowering them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives by promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of substance misuse issues with prior experience in a related field and knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with proficient IT abilities.
- Show initiative and proactivity, with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Foster a supportive team dynamic, showcasing strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Successfully navigate change, ensuring the needs of service users remain paramount.
- Recognise the significance of information governance processes and commitment to following and applying all necessary safeguards.
