About the role
We are looking for an Asset Investment Manager to ensure that we understand our property assets and are managing them proactively to provide our customers with homes that meet the highest possible standards.
This will be through taking responsibility for ensuring that we have access to a wide range of asset management information that will enable the business to make the right decisions in relation to investment in our property portfolio, whilst managing a dedicated team to improve and maintain our homes.
The Asset Investment Manager will develop and deliver planned maintenance programmes, including procurement and performance management, and take responsibility for preparing and monitoring budgets, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service. This will include responsibility for delivery of our rolling programme of stock condition surveys and co-ordination of energy assessments.
About you
We’re looking for an individual who is RICS, CIOB or CIH qualified or who has significant experience of a similar asset management or programme / project management role. With a strong customer focus, you will have the ability to lead the delivery of asset management and have extensive knowledge of legislation and best practice.
With excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a large cross section of stakeholders, you will have a track record of managing high value, complex contracts to high levels of customer satisfaction, on time and within budget. We are looking for an individual who is able to successfully balance the needs of our customers with the needs of the business, ensuring that high levels of engagement and communication with tenants, leaseholders, contractors, partners, and colleagues is maintained at all times.
You will have good attention to detail and the ability to analyse and process technical data. Experience of effectively leading, managing and motivating a team is a must, as is experience of managing large budgets and ensuring policies and strategies are implemented successfully.
