Asset Manager

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Asset Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an attractive salary of £35,000 - £36,000, plus a generous £7,000 car allowance. Based in Coventry, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in minimising pallet losses and improving acceptance of pallets across the UK and Ireland. The role requires frequent travel and occasional overnight stays. What you'll do:
As an Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to minimise pallet losses and improve acceptance of our pallets across the UK and Ireland. You will work closely with Collection Points and Retail Outlets, fostering collaborative relationships that benefit all parties involved. Your role will also involve frequent travel across the UK & Eire. With your proactive approach, you will be instrumental in reducing asset loss and maximising our operating potential.

• Investigate pallet losses at Collection Points and implement corrective actions to resolve issues
• Work together with the Collection Service Centre and other stakeholders to reduce the number of non-compliant CP's
• Maintain strong relationships with retailers, ensuring a consistent acceptable recovery is achieved
• Ensure that our client is provided with quality analysis in order for the right business decisions to be made
• Conduct thorough investigations based on the reported numbers to ensure any anomalies/losses are discovered and acted upon

• At least 3 years' experience within a fast-paced logistics environment (preferably FMCG)
• Strong interpersonal skills including listening, influencing, verbal and written communication
• Good problem-solving skills including analysing & challenging information
• Excellent presentation skills
• Creative thinking and approach to tasks and issues
