As an Assistant Accountant, you will have the opportunity to support the Finance Manager in delivering key performance metrics and driving down costs in line with their business plan. Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end processes and deliver accurate monthly management reports
- Gain a thorough understanding of cost and volume processing through various systems of record
- Provide accurate unit cost data to the business on a monthly basis
- Ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met
- Use technical skills to process and analyse large amounts of data
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary changes
- Prepare data analysis to support Network Operations Management Accounts and Operation Performance Report
- Participate in cross-business reviews to compare unit cost data and understand variances
- Document and improve current business processes
Requirements:
- Part-qualified Accountant or someone looking to start a career in Accounting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
