Form of workMy client is a rapidly growing property company in Blackburn. Due to a new acquisition they are recruiting two Assistant Accountants into their vibrant and expanding finance team, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career and become a qualified accountant.
As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for a variety of transactional duties within the finance function. This will include managing both the purchase and sales ledger from start to finish, processing and raising invoices, dealing with supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements and making and receiving payments. You will also reconcile multiple bank accounts, and deal with all aspects of income and asset management. You will assist qualified Management Accountants with month end processes which will help to develop your skills and enhance your career.
This role will suit a candidate who has experience in a varied transactional position who is currently studying or is going to be studying towards their ACCA or CIMA qualification. If you have experience in a property company this would be highly advantageous to your application.
The salary on offer is paying up to £35,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes study support and a generous holiday entitlement. This role is based on site 5 days a week.
