Description
Assistant Accountant
- Support the preparation of Budget and Reforecasting process.
- Assist in the preparation KPI analysis specific to each department.
- Assist with monthly P&L reviews for key stakeholders, providing variance analysis and attending regular review meetings
- Analyse financial data and prepare regular management reports for key stakeholders.
- Participate in the company's financial planning and strategy.
- Communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- Budget understanding/experience
- Working toward a professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
