As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting various accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and collaborating with other team members.
In your first few weeks in this Assistant Accountant role, you can expect to:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions including foreign currency and update accounting databases
- Assist in conducting audits and resolving discrepancies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
To apply for this Assistant Accountant role, you will need experience in a similar position and be studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA and AAT level all considered).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with accounting software (Sage 200)
