SalarySF are working exclusively with an excellent company based in Loughborough who are in search of an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a 6 month temporary basis. The purpose of this vacancy is to provide support to the finance team during new finance system implementation. This position offers hybrid working and flexible hours.
Salary up to £29,000K

Job duties:
• Assist and complete the monthly payment run to suppliers, producing BACS reports and processing payments
• Process purchase invoices
• Raise sales invoices via SAGE and assist in the processing of the weekly banking.
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Debt collection
• Review and prepare quarterly VAT returns
• Cash Book Management through the daily recording of bank transactions
• Provide support to the Senior Finance Manager and wider finance team and assist in any other ad hoc projects
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• AAT qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience
• Ability to produce work to tight deadlines
• Able to work as part of a team with a positive, proactive and helpful attitude.
• Organised and methodical when approaching tasks
