Looking for an exceptional career opportunity in Finance? Join our client, a fantastic business based in Exeter as their Assistant Accountant. You'll have the chance to play a lead role in the financial operations of this high-growth group and work closely with the Finance Manager and key stakeholders across the business.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements accurately.
- Assist in budget development and monitoring for business growth.
- Creating monthly management accounts and providing insights.
- Manage purchase ledger.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Bank account reconciliations.
- Payroll preparation and compliance.
- Assist in the annual audit process.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- AAT Qualified or Part Qualified.
- Previous experience in a similar company accountant role.
- Proficient in bookkeeping and management accounts.
