Abacus Consulting are proud to be partnering a successful Events and Marketing SME business on the outskirts of Bedford. They have been established for over 40 years and have a niche client base, who are very loyal.
My client is keen to secure a new permanent team member as soon as possible. Keen to secure an AAT qualified Accountant or a strong bookkeeper. Working as part of a small finance team, reporting into the Head of Finance, your duties as the Assistant Project Accountant will include:
- Assist with management accounts prep
- Project Accounting
- Cost Centre Control
- Bank and balance sheet recs
- VAT returns
- Posting journals
- Accruals and prepayments
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years finance experience in SME business. AAT Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE. You must be a self-starter with good Excel and IT skills. Modern/open plan offices. This is an Office based role 3 days per week, with 2 days Working remotely. Excellent company benefits.
