SalaryJoin the Dewsbury office of our client, a multinational manufacturing business where you will support the Finance Manager with general accounting duties and month end processes.
This will be a predominantly office based role which will suit an individual with at least a few years of experience working in a rounded accounts role, now looking to develop in a well established finance team under a qualified Finance Manager.
Main duties of the role:
- Maintain the fixed asset register and post depreciation at month end.
- Assist in the reconciliation of the balance sheet.
- Assist the finance manager om preparing monthly actual results, forecasts and KPI's
- Prepare the quarterly VAT return
- Analysis of nominal accounts
- Reconciliation of billing scheduling and allocation of cash to invoices
- Settle finance agreements at the end of their term or at point of sale.
- Assist Finance Manager with year-end audits and ad hoc requests.
Key requirements:
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
