Assistant Accountant

This well-known and respected organisation, based in Weymouth, are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the team. Your new role
You will be reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager and have line management responsibility for one direct report. You will be responsible for preparing some of the monthly management reporting including prepayments and accruals, as well as playing an essential role with P&L and balance sheet review. There will also be other ad hoc duties to support this busy team.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will ideally be part qualified and studying AAT level 4 or be working towards your ACCA/CIMA/ACA with experience from a similar busy position with exposure to management accounts. You will have strong Excel skills and be a confident communicator with a high level of attention to detail. You will be a positive and enthusiastic individual with a professional attitude and an excellent work ethic.
