Assistant Accountant + Study – Ts/17328

Our exclusive client based in Chorley are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their busy accounts team.  Reporting into the finance manager, you will assist in the production of monthly management and statutory accounts for this established and well known business.

Duties of the role include:

• Assisting with the management accounts production and reporting
• Reviewing and reporting on variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Sales analysis
• Assisting with and filing HMRC returns
• Assisting in the year end audit
• Ad hoc reporting on key business drivers
• Supporting the credit control with preparing legal recovery
• Any additional accounting duties

You must have previous accounting experience to be considered for this role, ideally from a similar role. The business will consider someone who is at their final stages of AAT or just started CIMA/ACCA and they will pay for your study.  You need to be methodical, be a good communicator and have a real interest in accounting and developing your skills further.
