Our client , a property management company in Coventry with an 80 year history, is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This role will report in to and support the Accountant / Company Secretary. There is excellent potential career opportunity to succeed the Company Secretary on his retirement within the next four to five years. This role would be ideal for someone who is part qualified and looking for a position that would develop with their studies and increased experience.

Assignment Details
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger / credit control
- VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- month end reporting
- Management accounts
- Monthly payroll
- Liaise with external accountants at year end
Skills Required
- Part qual / Qual CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA . Qualified AAT
- Previous experience in an accounting role
- SAGE experience would be an advantage
- Experience in Property management would be an advantage
- Experience in construction industry would be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Experienced excel user is essential
