Accounts Assistant
The Vacancy
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to work closely with management, employees and other key stakeholders, providing hands-on input, insight, and advice on finance-related issues. The Assistant Accountant will provide analysis and insight that links financial reports to business strategies and reporting. The post holder will play an important role in the preparation of management accounts, year-end accounts, budgets setting, intercompany analysis, annual district assessment, VAT returns and other accounts process including audit compliance.
About You
The post holder will have previous accounting experience and knowledge of accounting software and MS Office applications. They will be able to manage, guide and lead employees/line managers to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used. They will have strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within tight deadlines. They will be self-motivated, organised and with excellent communication skills, written and verbal. They will be flexible and able to build relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
