Finance Assistant

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant for a well established Freight Forwarder. The role is based in the Heathrow area.

Duties:-

• Customer profitability reports (Turnover reports)
• Net Assets report
• Monthly variance analysis -actual v budget
• KPI reporting-volumes, AP / AR and billing team performance
• Overhead variance analysis
• Review of job costing (margin analysis, analysis by charge code)
• Review of Accounts Payable and Receivable ledgers
• Intercompany reconciliations and queries review-UK v/s Overseas(USA,HK,CHINA, etc.)
• Deferment account reconciliation (Duty & Vat reconciliation)
• Interface-Check D&V purchase and sales invoices passed in Cargowise are in Globe.
• Intercompany balance sheet reconciliation- UK v/s Overseas.
• Work with Financial controller on month end closure
• Audit package preparation and other specific tasks/projects and Ad-hoc analysis.
• Monthly Financial reports (By Shipper, by chargeable weight & by department)
• Balance sheet analysis and reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayment, monthly journal preparation & posting.
• Supplier statements reconciliation- specially shipping lines.
• Payment processing
 

Freight Forwarding experience essential!!!!

Working Hours are 9am - 5:30pm
