Are you the right person for the job?

• Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a bar setting
• In-depth knowledge of cellar management, pouring techniques, and beer quality
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing laws
• Good level of physical fitness; capable of moving beer barrels, gas cylinders, tables & chairs etc
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for the hospitality and events industry

What will your role look like?

• Leadership: Assist in managing and leading a high-performing bar team in a busy events venue
• Cellar Skills: Oversee and maintain the cellar, ensuring optimal conditions for kegs and beer quality
• Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
• Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, see in deliveries and manage inventory efficiently
• Training: Train and mentor bar staff to maintain high standards in service and presentation
• Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth bar operations, compliance with health and safety regulations, and adherence to company policies
• Security: Opening and Closing duties and cash handling
