SalaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen in the South Hams for an Assistant Branch Manager within a Reputable Independent South Hams Estate Agency. This role will be in one of their flagship South Ham offices with on target earnings of up to £38,000 and would suit an experienced senior negotiator looking for career progression in a lovely company to work for.
Our client is a multi branched, rural, independent estate agency with an excellent reputation in the area. They currently require an Assistant Branch Manager with recent estate agency experience, used to working to target for either an independent or corporate firm. They are looking for a dynamic individual ideally with local knowledge.
Situated in the South Hams this agent has strong rural links so applicants should ideally have some experience in the upper & rural market as well as wanting to develop strong leadership and management skills.
As the prospective candidate you will already be at senior negotiator level or an experienced senior valuer ready to take the next step in your career, have a track record of delivering results. You must have a self driven approach and the desire to succeed.
The role in brief:
- Able to delegate tasks from Manager and run the office in the managers absence. The Assistant Manager is expected to cover periods of absence, holiday, sickness etc for the Manager, with the support of their team.
- At all times to encourage more junior staff to work to the best of their abilities. To provide support to team members.
- Carry out market appraisals and listing property for sale when required.
- Assist senior staff members and supervise the sales team.
- Help ensure branch targets are met
- Assisting the manager with efficient day to day operation of the office.
These are just a few key responsibilities that are expected of the successful candidate.
In return my client offers a salary package of £24,000 basic depending on experience and with a generous commission structure. On target earnings in the region of £38,000. Our client will also support continued active professional development such as the Property Mark National Association of Estate agents qualifications either through support in costs and/or day release where appropriate
