Assistant Building Manager

Our client is a private real estate investment company founded in 1985. Their wide-ranging portfolio includes affordable housing, student accommodation, PRS, hotels, youth hostels, offices, and warehousing across the UK, Netherlands and France. They are now looking to recruit an Assistant Building Manager to be involved in the social housing element of their portfolio.
The role
The Assistant Building Manager's role is to maintain effective reception and help desk facilities during the required hours and assist the Building Manager in the day-to-day operational management of the building, communicating and resolving issues and covering for the Building Manager role in their absence.

Person specification
You enjoy a busy hands on role, with a great balance of operational, administrative and people management.
You may have previously worked in supervisory role, perhaps as part of another building management team, or in a service based role.
You enjoy working with a wide range of people and are keen to resolve issues, keep various administration and operational activity on track seeing things though to the end. Overall you are happy to roll your sleeves up, love getting the job done and are keen to develop your operational expertise and leadership skills.
