The Assistant Building surveyor's role
As an Assistant Building Surveyor, you will work closely with an Associate, providing support and collaboration on a range of tasks including dilapidations, surveys, project management, major works, fire safety, and planned maintenance. This role is perfect for those who are driven, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges.
- Assisting with dilapidations, conducting surveys, and overseeing various projects.
- Involvement in major works, contributing to planning and execution.
- Supporting fire safety assessments and procedures.
- Aiding in the development and implementation of planned maintenance programs.
- Working closely with the Associate to ensure high standards of service delivery.
The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will have?
- BSc or MSc in Building Surveying or RICS accredited degree
- Some experience or a strong interest in building surveying, particularly in residential and commercial sectors.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn with a hands-on approach to all tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to professional development, particularly towards APC progression.
- CAD skills would be beneficial.
