This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Director of Building Surveying and play a pivotal role in the upkeep and enhancement of a prestigious property portfolio.
The Assistant Building surveyor's role
As the Assistant Building Surveyor, you will be a key member of a dynamic team, directly contributing to a wide array of surveying services.
- Assisting in comprehensive building surveying duties across a mixed portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
- Conducting detailed building pathology inspections to assess and report on property conditions.
- Managing dilapidations processes for various properties, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Preparing and reviewing licenses for alterations, as well as schedules of conditions.
- Being actively involved in refurbishment projects, contributing to both planning and execution phases.
The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will have?
- A degree in Building Surveying either BSc or MSc.
- Some experience in a building surveying role, preferably with a similar practice.
- Ideally part way through APC process or keen to begin.
- A proactive approach, with a willingness to take on varied responsibilities and challenges.
- Ideally experience with dilapidations.
In return?
- £35,000 - £45,000.
- Full APC training and support.
