My client are looking for a Junior Buyer to join their team due to growth. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a well-established company that offer great progression opportunities. This position will require you to work with the wider team by ensuring the highest possible service and ensuring that the supply chain is working together collaboratively.

This right individual will have previous experience working in a construction related environment. You will also and be confident in communicating with different individuals and have great negotiating skills.

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Buyer;

• Purchasing materials to meet the companies needs
• Considering pricing, quality and delivery of products
• Support with the tender process and raise any invoice queries
• Liaise with suppliers and internal staff members
• Prepare reports and maintain the supplier database

Key experience of the Assistant Buyer;

• Confident working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong IT skills
• Great communication skills
• Previous experience in procurement, buying or purchasing
• Great organisational skills
