We have the perfect opportunity for you! Our client, a leading fashion organisation based in Shepherds Bush, London, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join their dynamic team.
�? ??????????:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Buyer, ensuring smooth operations across all trading, buying, planning, and forecasting activities.
- ?? Produce and analyse weekly trade reports, identifying top-selling products and addressing any underperforming lines.
- Conduct detailed ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Monitor product presentation on the website to maintain accuracy in pricing and information.
- Assist with the preparation of vendor packs and analysis for buying trips.
- Collaborate with the retail team to handle payment-related matters and ensure timely invoice settlements.
- Stay updated on competitor activities and share insights with the wider team.
???????????? ??????????????:
- Collaborate with the Junior Buyer and Buyer on global product sourcing initiatives.
- Manage order administration tasks, including stock analysis, data manipulation, and buy sheet administration.
- Maintain vendor communication and resolve queries promptly.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the management of the vendor directory and new supplier setup.
?? Planning and Forecasting:
- Work closely alongside the Junior Buyer to review and present delivery forecasts, assessing risks and opportunities.
- Support the Retail Coordinator in understanding the impact of forecasting on trading and upload.
????????????????????????:
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Previous administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with buying, merchandising, or retail operations support.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proactive and able to meet stringent deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passionate about fashion and a great sense of personal style.
- Off-Price experience is a plus.
- Degree education preferred (or equivalent).
