SalaryCpl Healthcare is seeking applications from experienced Registered Nurses for the role of Assistant Director of Nursing for a 78-bed nursing home centrally located in South Dublin.
Easily accessible by public transport and road, the location of the nursing home would suit staff commuting across Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare.
This is a new role within the home where the successful candidate will be a key partner to the Director of Nursing. The successful candidate will have direct responsibility for the team of Clinical Nurse Managers, Healthcare Assistants and Activities Co-Ordinator, while ensuring the provision of clinical and professional leadership of the care team in delivery of direct resident care.
This is a supernumerary position and detailed JD available upon request.
To be considered eligible for the role the following criteria apply:
- A registered General Nurse on the Register of Nurses held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Have a minimum of three years’ experience nursing older people in the last six years and 3 years nursing management experience
- A post registration management qualification in health or a related field.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Gerontology desirable
- Post registration qualification in nursing people with dementia desirable
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
