Interim Assistant Director of Operations | 9-12 month Contract | £500-550pd Inside IR35 | Membership Body | Hybrid - 1 day a week in Central London
This is a fantastic role joining a medium sized membership body that is going through a business transformation project. This interim role will have oversight of the Operations team, whilst driving forward some key change projects across procurement and membership processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage his direct areas and teams and overarching operations responsibilities - including memberships, data and digital, facilities and operations, health and safety
- Deliver some time-critical projects across the organisation
- Support the organisation around some exciting business transformation pieces
- Oversee and develop long-term team budgets, risk registers, continuity and work plans and team objectives in line with their long-term strategy
- Supporting the scaling of resource capability and capacity by leading on the procurement engagement, tendering and recruitment
- Conduct analysis and reviews of operational processes, policies and documentation across the corporate services function and implement an improvement plan
Person Specification
- An experienced Head of/Director of Operations with experience in change management
- A strong leader with a proactive mindset to drive change
- Ideally have a background of working in a membership body, however not essential
- An inquisitive candidate with a curious mind to analyse and review existing processes
- A strong communicator who can work with people at various levels across an organisation
- Available at short notice (3-4 weeks maximum)
