Pay Rate: £1,040.88 Per Day

An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Assistant Director – Strategic Property to lead, shape and drive improvements in the delivery of Property Services at a borough level, providing operational oversight and leadership for all aspects of services including Strategic Property, Operational Property, Facilities Management, Property Capital Programme delivery & Property Investment Management.

Key Outputs

To lead and manage these functions in accordance with the core principles, key aims and priorities as defined in Directorate Plans and Building a Better vision for the organisation.

To control, manage and deliver through the Heads of Service, contractual performance of all service areas, ensuring contractual compliance;

To take the lead in providing estates asset management and valuation advice

To be responsible and accountable for identified service budget(s), both revenue and capital.

To oversee the management and performance of Property Investment Portfolio and funds, making necessary decisions and recommendations as to enhancement of value and disposal and acquisitions.

Suited candidate will have significant and broad Property Management and leadership experience. You will have been recently delivered a similar leadership role for another Government organisation.
