Job Description
As Assistant Estates Surveyor, you'll be responsible for:
- Meeting with stakeholder groups to interpret project briefing requirements.
- Working with senior team members to project manage a wide range of capital build projects
- Undertaking site inspections to identify issues, instructing repairs, assessing the quality, and signing off on, completed works.
- Gathering asset information and reviewing local premises files to ensure compliance with the Premises Management procedures.
- Utilising and populating the Asset Management System, to export condition data and R&M history ensuring that the system is accurately maintained.
- Assisting the Senior Estates Surveyor to prepare term contracts with contractors and suppliers, ensuring that value for money criteria is achieved.
The Successful Applicant
The role will suit an enthusiastic individual looking to grow and gain a broad range of experience. Ideally someone looking to complete RICS APC qualification with either a degree in Building/Construction or Estates Management
Knowledge of the following would be essential/advantageous
- Knowledge and understanding of Project Management, Building and Estates Management principles
- High level of CAD & CAFM literacy
- Planning, organising and managing work
- Excellent IT skills, covering all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Project
- Understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures and their application to Estates Management
- Driving license with access to vehicle (mileage provided)
