Assistant Financial Accountant

Scania have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join the Finance team. With previous accountancy experience, you will support the central finance function and the functional control teams.


Key Responsibilities:
•    Preparation of month end journals, including accruals and prepayments schedules.
•    Assisting the Finance team with monthly closing routines.
•    Completing allocated balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner including investigation and resolution of any queries.
•    Generating consolidated invoices for key retail customers and vehicle maintenance units.
•    Supporting members of the wider team in processing transactions, chasing debt, analysing data, and producing management reports.
•    Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT and corporation tax returns.
•    Generating ad-hoc invoices and recharges.
