- Role – Assistant Financial Accountant

Day to day you will take charge of the Month End Process, mainly focusing on Accruals, Prepayments, Variance Analysis, and maintaining the Fixed Asset register. You will work in a team with a direct line to the Group Financial Reporting Manager and the Finance Business Partner allowing a truly unique insight into the functions of a billion-pound industry.
Essentials for the role:
- Part Qualified or actively working towards a Qualification in an accredited accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT).
- In depth knowledge of Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Previous exposure to the Month End process.
- Solid Excel and IT skills.
- Be confident enough to communicate and challenge and learn from the very best.
While these are essential it is not an exhaustive list, ideally candidates may also have the following qualities
Additional factors that would benefit applicants:
- Previous warehouse/retail financial experience.
- SAP systems knowledge.
