Assistant Financial Accountant

Assistant Financial Accountant Permanent Based in Crawley (hybrid working) £34,000 - £38,000 per annum, plus bonus, generous pension, private healthcare, flexible working, study support and further benefits Tony Alan Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join a global technology leader with an impeccable reputation based in Crawley on a permanent basis. Your duties will include: Maintain and reconcile the balance sheet accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met Prepare and post journal entries to reflect accurate financial transactions Assist with the preparation and filing of VAT returns to comply with tax regulations. Support both the external & internal audit process and provide necessary documentation. Review and process employee expenses in compliance with company policies. Support the revenue cycle, including contract maintenance, revenue recognition through to cash collection Implement and maintain strong internal controls and participate in process improvement projects as necessary Key requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced finance environment Ideally working towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA Proficient user in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS would be advantageous If you feel that you would be suitable for this position then please apply with your CV.
