As Assistant Financial Controller you will be responsible leading the integration project of a subsidiary into the Group, as well as managing the sales and purchase ledger team. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract role and my client is looking for someone to join ASAP.

Description
As Assistant Financial Controller responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the finance lead for the integration project and ensuring that the subsidiary is delivering against strategic objectives
- Managing a team of 5 across sales ledger and purchase ledger
- Review balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Review budgets, rolling cash flow forecasts and reporting against actuals
- Production of the month end management accounts
- Support in the preparation of the year end statutory accounts
Profile
My client is looking for a Qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting skills along with experience of managing small teams.
Experience within the charity / not for profit sector would be helpful but by no means essential.
You should be available to start this role within 1 month and be able to commit to the full 6 months Fixed Term Contract. There could be the possibility of a longer term position within the organisation.
Job Offer
Up to £53,000 dependent on experience
23 days holiday + Bank Holidays
37 hour working week
The flexibility to work from home for 3-4 days per week
